Purdue University Press launches new website

Purdue University Press, the academic publishing arm of the University, announced today the launch of its new website. To celebrate, the Press is offering 40% off all titles by using discount code 21NEWSITE at checkout. “The new website is an attractive and user-friendly shop front that not only shows what we do, but tells the world who we are,” said Justin Race, director of Purdue University Press. “Our central goal is to get our scholarship in as many hands as possible, and our refreshed online presence is central to that initiative.”

The Press publishes twenty-five rigorously reviewed books and sixteen journals per year. In addition to showcasing authors from all over the world, the Press publishes many projects by Purdue community members through its Scholarly Publishing Services division. Highlights of the new site include a dedicated page to open access and a page detailing the many partnerships the Press has throughout the University.

Although the publishing landscape has changed since Purdue University Press’s founding in 1960, the Press remains dedicated to its fundamental mission: publishing impactful, peer-reviewed scholarship that aligns with the University’s strengths and supports Purdue’s mission to serve Indiana, the nation, and the world. Books are available for purchase in print and electronic formats directly from the website.

“Our central goal is to get our scholarship in as many hands as possible, and our refreshed online presence is central to that initiative.”
